Millie Bobby Brown Opens Up About Her Baby Girl for the First Time

Millie Bobby Brown has been pretty tight-lipped since adopting a baby girl with her husband, Jake Bongiovi. Other than sharing a tiny glimpse of the little one while enjoying a ride at Disneyland, she hasn’t posted any clear pics of the baby or said much about becoming a mother. Until now.

The star talked to British Vogue for their December cover story and revealed what it’s been like to welcome a child into their family.

“It’s been a beautiful, amazing journey — she’s taught us so much already,” Millie said.

She also noted how things have changed, saying, “Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious.”

“Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love,” she added. “It’s just endless joy.”

Millie Revealed Who’s On Diaper Duty

Being a parent to a little baby is a hard job. Luckily for Millie and Jake, they’re sharing the newborn-related workload. That includes the arguably icky tasks like changing the little one’s dirty diapers.

Indeed, when asked by British Vogue who takes care of diaper duty, the “Stranger Things” star answered by saying, “We are 50-50 on everything. That’s why I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life — he is just the most amazing dad.”

Millie & Jake Are Protecting Their Baby from the Spotlight

There’s no doubt that Millie is a famous star and that Jake is also a well-known figure. While the two choose to show up on red carpets together and occasionally talk about their lives as a married couple, they won’t be sharing details about their daughter.

When British Vogue asked the star to talk about her baby’s personality, Millie refused, saying, “I’m not going to.”

“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” she explained.

“It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly,” Millie added. “If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support. But right now, as she’s so little…”

After a pause, she continued by saying, “As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.”

Does that include keeping the baby’s name under wraps? Yep! Her name will be kept a secret from the public until “she’s ready to decide for herself.”
