Millie Bobby Brown has revealed how her little girl has already changed her life after a surprise adoption with husband Jake Bongiovi.
Last month, the Stranger Things star, 21, announced that the couple had adopted a baby girl, whose name they have not yet revealed.
She casually posted a first look at the tot in an Instagram photo dump, which saw Jake, 23, carrying her in a tiny carrier covered in a blanket.
The young couple, who got married last year, have been keeping things very private but Millie has finally shared some details.
She told British Vogue: ‘It’s been a beautiful, amazing journey– she’s taught us so much already. Perspective is a huge thing.
‘The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.’
Millie and Jake confirmed the news of their new addition in a joint statement on social media in August, sending us all into a spin.
‘This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,’ the message read.
‘We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.’
‘And then there were 3. Love Millie and Jake Bongiovi.’
Millie, who is British Vogue’s December cover star, told the publication how she and Jake ‘definitely’ want more kids.
Pointing out her husband, who is the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, is one of four and added she doesn’t see adopting as any different to having a biological child.
Praising her partner, the Enola Holmes actress added: ‘We are 50-50 on everything. That’s why I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life – he is just the most amazing dad.’
She explained that she was aware how young the couple were when they got married, but believes you ‘just know’ when it’s the right person.
The pair had been together for four years and were living together on their farm in Georgia, complete with plenty of animals, when they tied the knot.
Getting married young wasn’t so alarming to the couple as Millie’s mum had her first child at 20, and Jake’s famous parents were childhood sweethearts.
At a recent Bon Jovi event, Jon was positively beaming as he talked about his granddaughter, saying she’d been round to his home but had not yet heard him play music.
Speaking to Today previously, the Livin’ on a Prayer legend said: ‘Immediately you fall in love. When we met Jake and Millie’s daughter, it was just immediate. You’re like, “That’s my granddaughter.”‘
He joked: ‘She won’t be able to walk for at least 10 or 12 years because Papa will be carrying her everywhere she goes.’
