Natalie Portman is stepping into her French lover era, and fans are loving it!
The Oscar-winning actress, known for roles in “Black Swan,” “Jackie,” and Marvel’s “Thor,” was spotted strolling through Paris with a new man on her arm. According to sources, Portman is dating French electronic musician Tanguy Destable, better known in the music world as Tepr.
Portman was seen walking beside Destable, who several noticed he was sporting a denim jacket with an Angel City FC logo. Could it be that this is a “not-so-subtle” nod to the soccer team Portman co-founded in 2020?
Who Is Tanguy Destable?
Destable, aka Tepr, is no stranger to the spotlight in France. The artist is best known for his work in electro-pop and electronic music circles, once serving as a member of the group Yelle before launching a solo career. His songs have lit up clubs across Europe, and now, it seems, heâs lighting up Portmanâs world too.
He was previously married to French actress Louise Bourgoin, and they share two children. Much like Portman, Destable knows the balancing act of art, public life, and parenthood. This might be part of what bonded them in the first place.

The actress has also remained busy professionally. Her 2025 film, “Fountain of Youth,” was released on Apple TV+, which also starred John Krasinski. She also dove into animation this year, producing the French Time-Traveling film, “Arco,” which debuted at Cannes in May. So yes, Portman’s got a full slate, and now a new romance to match.

Portman and Destable were first romantically linked in March 2025, after French outlet Voici published photos of the pair spending time together. PEOPLE later confirmed the relationship, just months after Portman finalized her divorce from French choreographer and filmmaker Benjamin Millepied.
Portman and Millepied, whom she met on the set of “Black Swan” in 2009, were married for 11 years and share two children. Their split in 2023 followed several rumors regarding third parties, although Portman kept things low-key and focused on her work and family.

Though theyâve only been spotted a handful of times publicly, the chemistry between Portman and Destable looks unmistakable. And yes, if his Angel City FC jacket is any indication, heâs clearly supporting her passions, too.
