<p id=”par-1_63″>Nathan Griffith won’t be a threat to women for the next 14 months. The former <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/teen-mom-2/?swcfpc=1″><em>Teen Mom 2</em> </a>has been sentenced for the domestic violence attack on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/jenelle-evans-appears-in-tiktok-live-comments-attacks-nathan-griffiths-alleged-victim.html/”>his much younger former girlfriend</a>. Two of his victims and one of his supporters were in court to see the judge hand down the sentence, but one of Nathan Griffith’s most prominent supporters was suspiciously absent.</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-nathan-griffith-sentenced-after-strangulation-arrest”>Nathan Griffith sentenced after strangulation arrest</h2>
<p id=”par-2_114″>Nathan Griffith will spend 14 months in a Nevada prison after he was arrested for domestic battery back in April. The 37-year-old veteran violated his probation with the incident against 21-year-old Anastasia Biddle. According to <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/14353849/teen-mom-nathan-griffith-sentenced-prison-judge-kill-someone/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>the U.S. Sun</a>, Griffith sobbed while the judge reprimanded him for his behavior and sentenced him on May 29. According to the publication, the judge admonished Griffith, who asked for lenience. The judge noted that she had seen Griffith in court multiple times and was not feeling particularly lenient after various probation violations. She addressed the former reality TV star directly, saying, “You are a danger to others, and you’re going to kill someone,” before remanding him to jail.</p>

<p id=”par-3_56″>Sadly, the incident did not shock <em>Teen Mom</em> fans, many of whom expressed <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/former-teen-mom-star-nathan-griffith-debuts-new-romance-with-tons-of-red-flags-on-instagram.html/”>concern about Griffith’s relationship</a> months before the incident. It is unclear where Griffith will serve out the bulk of his sentence. He is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center, the same jail he was taken to immediately following the incident.</p>

<p id=”par-4_60″>Nathan Griffith already knew what was coming. The former reality TV star actually got off relatively lightly, considering his crimes and his pattern of increasingly violent incidents. His sentence feels especially light when you consider two of his victims strode into the courtroom to see the sentencing go down, and they are not the only women whom Griffith has strangled.</p>
<p id=”par-5_54″>Anastasia Biddle, Griffith’s most recent victim, was on hand to hear a judge hand down a prison term. Griffith’s sister, who was a victim of his abuse back in July 2023, was also in the courtroom. At the time of his most recent arrest, Griffith was on probation for the attack against his sibling.</p>
<p id=”par-6_44″>There are additional victims on the East Coast. Griffith was arrested in February 2023 for<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/nathan-griffiths-criminal-cases-how-many-times-has-he-been-accused-of-strangulation.html/”> strangling a romantic partner in Florida</a>. Those charges were dropped. He has been arrested various other times for domestic violence. One such incident was captured on camera by MTV.</p>

<p id=”par-7_96″>While two of Griffith’s victims were in the courtroom to see a judge sentence the 37-year-old veteran, one of his biggest supporters was not. In the weeks since his domestic battery arrest, Jenelle Evans has used her platform to try and cast doubt on Biddle’s story. She attacked the 21-year-old’s character, questioned her story, and even <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/reality-tv/nathan-griffiths-alleged-abuse-victim-details-how-jenelle-evans-showed-up-at-her-home-to-harass-her.html/”>showed up at her house. </a>She defended Griffith so fiercely that you would have expected to see her in the courtroom, but she was not there. Evans skipped the sentencing, but his estranged wife did show up to support him.</p>

<p id=”par-8_92″>While Jenelle Evans opted out of attending Nathan Griffith’s sentencing hearing, his estranged wife, May Oyola, was on hand. Oyola has been oddly involved as one of Griffith’s supporters, as well. Oyola even took to social media to show off <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/nathan-griffiths-romantic-life-continues-to-confuse-teen-mom-fans-hes-sending-flowers-from-lockup.html/”>flowers Griffith had sent to her.</a> It is unclear where the former flames stand. They have been estranged for at least two years at this point. They only got married in 2022. Perhaps Oyola will continue to stand by her man and welcome him back when he is released sometime in 2026.</p>
