Hit series Younger is finally being added to Netflix (Picture: TV Land)
Netflix bosses have saved us all from the January blues as they are adding all seasons of one of the best 00s comedies around.
Younger – created by Darren Star – became an instant hit when it premiered in 2015, with Sutton Foster leading the cast alongside Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Nico Tortorella and Miriam Shor.
It ran for seven seasons and followed 40-year-old singleton Liza Miller (Sutton) as she has a run-in with tattoo artist Josh (Nico), who believes they are both in their 20s.
This spurs her on to reinvent herself and return to the world of publishing, where she passes herself off as a 20-something but struggles to hide her real identity.
The series premiered on TV Land 10 years ago before moving over to Hulu and Paramount+ for the final batch of episodes – but thankfully, all seven seasons will now be in one place on Netflix in the US from tomorrow.
A message on Netflix reads that the seasons are ‘coming on Tuesday’ – the series can also be viewed on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

Although the entire series has a critics score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, compared to an audience rating of 76%, seasons two – six actually have a perfect mark from impressed reviewers.
Kate Kulzick from the Wrap praised: ‘This ridiculous premise shouldn’t even work, but thanks to strong writing from Sex And The City creator Darren Star and a winning lead performance by Sutton Foster, Younger is utterly charming.’
Nerdist’s Lindsey Romain wrote ‘It’s a concept that shouldn’t work at all, but somehow, Foster and the rest of the cast – including Hilary Duff and Debi Mazar – elevate Younger into something both silly and special…’

Michael Cuby of them. agreed: ‘Taken at face value, the premise of Younger — a 40-year-old woman lies about her age in order to get an assistant job at a publishing company — should not work.
‘But somehow, it does (fantastically so).’
As Alison Herman from the Ringer added: ‘For now, Younger remains TV Land’s best and biggest hit, a fact that’s both improbable and oddly poetic.’

While Younger has been off our screens for nearly four years, Nico previously revealed that he would definitely be keen to reprise his role in a revival.
‘I think that there most likely will be another version of that story at some point,’ he told People Magazine. ‘Whether it’s in the next five years, 10 years, who knows? I just can’t imagine there won’t be a film at some point.
Suggesting that there’s ‘more to the story’, he also got excited at the prospect of working with his castmates – including Sutton and Hilary – again.
‘I spent almost a decade of my life with that cast,’ he added. ‘To be able to go back and just play make believe in a summer camp in the city with all of them, yes.’
