Nick Reiner has been named a person of interest in the shocking deaths of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner.
Now, a family photo taken three months before the tragedy resurfaced online, showing Nick looking quite unhappy.
On September 9, Rob Reiner and his family attended the Los Angeles premiere of “This Is Spinal 2” at the Egyptian Theatre.
He was joined by his wife, Michele, and their three childrenâNick, Jake, and Romy. Rob’s adoptive daughter, Tracy, from his late ex-wife Penny Marshall, was not in attendance.

Nick stood apart with a noticeably serious expression, as seen in the photo shared by Parade.

As of Monday morning, online records indicate that Nick is in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department, according to TMZ. He was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Meanwhile, Page Six reported that Nick is being held at Parker Center Jail in Downtown Los Angeles, with his bail set at $4 million.
Rob and Michele were found dead inside their home with “lacerations consistent with a knife.”
Tributes Pour In For Rob & Michele
GettyTributes for Rob and Michele continue to pour in. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood expressed sadness over the loss of a legend.
Ben Stiller called Rob’s death “a huge loss,” while Kathy Bates remembered him as a “brilliant and kind” man.
Jamie Lee Curtis and her husband, Christopher Guest, released a joint statement, saying, “Christopher and I are numb and sad and shocked about the violent, tragic deaths of our dear friends Rob and Michele Singer Reiner and our ONLY focus and care right now is for their children and immediate families and we will offer all support possible to help them.”
Meanwhile, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass called it a “devastating loss for our city and our country.”
Former President Barack Obama said in part, “Michelle and I are heartbroken by the tragic passing of Rob Reiner and his beloved wife, Michele.”
Rob is best known for his work in films, including “This Is Spinal Tap,” “Stand by Me,” “The Princess Bride,” “When Harry Met Sally,” and more.
