Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly separated after 19 years of marriage.
The actress, 58, and the country singer, 57, have split, according to a source that told People: ‘Nicole’s sister [Antonia] has been a rock and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another.’
‘She didn’t want this,’ they continued, talking about Nicole. ‘She has been fighting to save the marriage.’
TMZ first reported the news, with sources saying the couple has been living apart since the beginning of summer.
They continued, claiming: ‘Nicole has been taking care of their 2 children and, holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.’
The couple tied the knot in June 2006 and have welcomed two daughters together in that time, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Nicole and Keith first met in January 2005 at the G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles, an event celebrating Australians in Hollywood.
At the time, Kidman was already an Oscar-winning actress and Urban a rising country music star.
Though both later admitted they felt an instant spark, Urban has confessed that he waited a few months before mustering the courage to call her.
‘Somebody had given me her number, and I had it in my pocket for awhile,’ he said on Australian talk show Interview in 2018.
‘I kept looking at it thinking, “If I call this number, she’s going to answer. I don’t know what [to] say.” I wasn’t in a very healthy place in my life … I’d never have thought she’d see anything in a guy like me.
‘But, at some point, I plucked up the courage to [dial] those numbers, and she answered, and we started talking. And we talked and talked and talked and talked, and it was effortless.’

Their romance quickly deepened, and by May 2006, they announced their engagement.
Just a month later, on June 25, 2006, the couple married in a lavish yet intimate ceremony at St. Patrick’s Estate in Sydney, Australia, surrounded by family, friends, and fellow celebrities.
Not long after the wedding, they faced an early challenge when Urban entered rehab for alcohol abuse, with Kidman standing firmly by his side.
Both have since spoken about how that difficult moment strengthened their bond.
He later told Rolling Stone in 2014 that he was ‘very, very blessed’ that his wife intervened in his addiction.
The pair went on to build a family together, with their first daughter, Sunday Rose, born in July 2008 in Nashville, followed by their second daughter, Faith Margaret, in December 2010, delivered via surrogate.
