<p id=”par-2_33″>The <em>Big Little Lies </em>star channeled old Hollywood glamour in her long black Chanel gown and flowing, wavy tresses. Combined with a bold red lip, the look echoed 1940s screen legend Rita Hayworth. </p>

<p id=”par-5_54″>Kidman’s high-fashion moment in Los Angeles is just the latest outing for the newly single star. She and husband Keith Urban announced their split on September 30. In early October, Kidman headed to France for Paris Fashion Week, where <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/nicole-kidman-debuts-breakup-bangs-paris-daughters.html/”>she attended the Chanel show</a> and the label announced her as its new brand ambassador.</p>
<p id=”par-6_79″>The<a href=”https://www.vogue.com/article/what-is-vogue-world-hollywood-a-complete-breakdown-of-the-films-and-characters-that-inspired-it”> October 26 runway show</a> featured a mix of new designs inspired by the movies and authentic costumes from much-loved films. Adut Akech strutted her stuff in the same flapper dress worn by Carey Mulligan in Luhrmann’s <em>The Great Gatsby </em>and Anok Yai wore Johnny Depp’s<em> Edward Scissorhands </em>costume. Nastassia donned an elegant 18th-century-style gown from Stanley Kubrick’s lush period drama <em>Barry Lyndon</em>, and Scarlett White was dressed in Reese Witherspoon’s iconic pink dress from <em>Walk the Line. </em> </p>
