Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly separated after 19 years of marriage, TMZ reported on September 29.
According to the outlet, it was Urban’s decision to split, with Kidman wanting to save the marriage. A source told TMZ, “Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home.”
Kidman and Urban share their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. The “Babygirl” star also shares Bella and Connor with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise.

Nicole Kidman & Tom Cruise: 1990-2001

The two married in December of the same year and would go on to welcome their two kids, Isabella and Connor, in 1992 and 1995, respectively.
In 1992, Kidman and Cruise starred in their second movie together, the period drama “Far and Away,” and again for the 1999 film, “Eyes Wide Shut.”
Their third movie took two years to film, and Kidman later told Deadline in a July 2024 interview that the director, Stanley Kubrick, drew inspiration from her marriage to Cruise.
“I suppose he was mining it. There were ideas he was interested in. Heâd ask a lot of questions. But he had a strong sense of the story he was telling,” the “Moulin Rouge!” star said.
She added, “I do remember him saying, âTriangles are hard. You have to tread carefully when itâs a triangle.â Because one person could feel ganged up on. But he was aware of that and knew how to manage us.”
Nicole Kidman & Q-Tip: 2003

The Fox News reporter revealed that Kidman told him she had met the rapper through a shared friend and told him, “He’s very a talented musician, isn’t he? But I don’t know much about that whole world, do you?”
Since then, the “Big Little Lies” star has kept quiet on her reported brief relationship with Q-Tip and has never publicly confirmed it.

A source, who saw the pair at a Manhattan eatery, told People, “They were gazing at each other all night long. She was sitting on his lap, massaging his leg. They were eating off each otherâs plates.”
They didn’t publicly acknowledge the relationship at the time, but Kidman told The Edit years later (via Marie Claire), “Well, I knew Zoë because I was engaged to her father. Itâs all in the family!”

On September 30, Kidman filed for divorce from Urban, with a source telling People, “She wanted to save their marriage and believed that she could, but it seems he’s already moved on.”
