Several UK retailers have discounted the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle, and it might be one of the last times you can grab it before Christmas.
The Nintendo Switch 2 has been a massive success since it launched in June, becoming the fastest-selling console in history, with over six million units sold worldwide.
While the follow-up to the Switch was always going to sell well, its success was practically guaranteed with Mario Kart World in the launch line-up – especially with the official console bundle knocking £40 off the game’s price.
If you’ve been holding out on buying the Switch 2 and Mario Kart World in anticipation of a discount, your time has come 0 as Amazon has lowered the bundle’s price for the first time.
As of today, Amazon is selling the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle for £409, which is £21 off the original £429.99 price. It’s unclear how long this price will hold for, but the same discount is also being offered at John Lewis.
The only other UK retailer to offer a discount on the bundle is EE.co.uk, although it’s not quite as low at £415.

Nintendo Switch 2 bundle discounts
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle – £409 at Amazon (£21 off)
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle – £409 at John Lewis (£21 off)
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle – £415 at EE (£15 off)
- Nintendo Switch 2 Pokémon Legends Z-A bundle – £415 at EE (£15 off)
If you’re considering picking up this bundle as a Christmas present, it might be wise to act sooner rather than later. Nintendo has previously stated the Mario Kart World bundle will have a ‘limited time production through autumn 2025’, and is only available ‘while supplies last’, so stock could run out at any moment.
If you don’t fancy Mario Kart World, there is another Switch 2 bundle with Pokémon Legends Z-A, but that’s still full price (£429.99) at most retailers. However, that bundle is going for £415 at EE, so there is a cheaper option if you prefer Pokémon to racing hijinks.
Beyond these two titles, the Christmas line-up for the Switch 2 is looking fairly strong, with Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment, Kirby Air Riders, and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond all on the near horizon. Splatoon Raiders and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave are also slated for 2026.
We’re set to learn more about Kirby Air Riders in another Nintendo Direct tomorrow, which is inexplicably around an hour in length.
