It seems like âOnly Murders in the Building” is getting even more ways to pull fans in; and weâre here for it. After the Season 5 premiere (September 9, 2025), the showâs official podcast is dropping, promising behind-the-scenes scoops, cast interviews, and all the Arconia drama we didnât even know we needed. Yep, you can officially obsess over the mysteries in audio form now.
The ‘Only Murders’ Podcast
The “‘Only Murders in the Building’ Official Podcast” will be hosted and executive produced by series star Michael Cyril Creighton (a.k.a. Howard).
It is all about giving fans extra layers of the show. According to Variety, “Episodes will be available to watch on YouTube” and “various podcast platforms” like Spotify, Apple Podcast, SiriusXM, iHeart Radio, TuneIn, Amazon Music and Pandora. And if youâre a Disney+ or Hulu subscriber? Good news: you can catch the video podcast there too.
“We built this slate of companion video podcasts to give our fans even more ways to connect more deeply with the shows they love.” Shannon Ryan (Disney Entertainment Television Marketing President) told Variety. “One of the great things is that these podcasts can do a bit of double duty for us. They serve as awareness drivers and marketing materials for our shows… but they also serve as bonus content for our fans and engagement drivers for our platforms.” Translation: more content for us, more hype for them. Win-win.
Other Shows Joining the Podcast Party
The good news? âOnly Murders in the Building” isnât going solo. âShows like âOnly Murders,â âDancing With the Stars,â âParadise,â âThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,â âMurdaugh: Death in the Family,â âPercy Jackson and the Olympians,â âTell Me Liesâ and more” are also set to get companion video podcasts (Variety). Basically, Disney is making sure thereâs something for everyone⦠whether youâre into dance-offs, murder mysteries, or demigods.

These podcasts arenât just more content. Theyâre designed to give fans deeper access to the stories and people behind the shows. Think behind-the-scenes gossip, interviews, and bonus tidbits you wouldnât get just by watching the episodes. It seems like a clever way to keep fans hooked and give us something to obsess over between episodes.
Podcasts as the New Fan Zone
With companion podcasts, networks are leveling up fan engagement. By offering content across multiple platforms, shows arenât just watched… they’re experienced, especially one like âOnly Murders in the Building.” From cast interviews to inside jokes youâll want to see it all. These podcasts are a new playground for fans to geek out in ways we didnât even realize we wanted.
