Davidson & Hewitt Excited to Become Parents

The couple’s joyful photos come after People confirmed on July 16 that Hewitt, 28, is pregnant with their first child.

A source close to the couple said, “They’re both very nurturing people and are very, very happy together and to be starting a family. They’ve been sharing privately with loved ones, and it’s a really sweet time after everything Pete has overcome. He’s so excited. He’s always wanted to be a dad.”

Another insider added that Davidson has been “more intentional” about who he lets into his life.

“With Elsie, it was never about headlines or the spotlight, and that’s exactly what he needs,” they said.

Inside Their Growing Romance

Davidson, 31, and Hewitt were first linked in March when they were spotted together in Palm Beach, Florida. Just two months later, they took their relationship to the next level and moved in together.

“Pete and Elsie have been living together in New York for the past few months,” a source told People in May. “They’re splitting their time between Pete’s house in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn. They’re so happy together and doing great.”

Davidson has spoken openly in the past about wanting to become a father. During a 2022 appearance on Kevin Hart’s talk show “Hart to Heart,” the comedian revealed that raising a child was his biggest dream.

“My favorite thing ever, which I’m yet to achieve, is I wanna have a kid,” Davidson said. “It’s super corny, but it would be so fun to dress up a little dude. I’m so excited for that chapter so that’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is trying to be like good as a dude and develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier.”

While Davidson and Hewitt prepare to embark on this exciting new chapter, the couple has not yet shared any wedding plans.
