Pete Davidson’s Girlfriend Undergoes Unplanned Post-Birth Medical Procedure

Giving birth is a momentous occasion. However, for Pete Davidson and his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, the day after they welcomed their daughter into the world didn’t go quite as expected. As Page Six shared, the model had to undergo an unexpected medical procedure one day after becoming a mom.

“Who else had to get a wisdom tooth removed directly from [the] hospital the day after they gave birth?” Hewitt asked in an Instagram Story. The post included a photo of Hewitt’s face looking painfully swollen, which is typical after such a procedure. Although wisdom tooth removal isn’t easy to go through, other social media posts suggest mom and baby are doing just fine.

Unexpected dental procedures aside, the couple had joyous news to share with the world after December 12, 2025. A few days later, Hewitt posted a photo carousel in honor of their daughter’s birth, which included sweet photos of the happy new family.

“My best work yet,” she captioned the post. “I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.” Davidson stayed true to his typical style of humor, adding “Wu Tang forever” to the caption instead of opting for something sentimental. The pair named their baby girl Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson. She is both Hewitt and Davidson’s first child.

The Comedian was Excited to Take on the Role of Being a Dad

Davidson is well-known for his star-studded dating history and seemingly unserious approach to life. However, the comedian shared his genuine excitement about becoming a father after the couple announced Hewitt’s pregnancy. In July, he spoke with E! News about what the new role meant to him.

“I’m very lucky and very, very happy,” he said. “Everybody’s just been super excited for me, because they know it’s been my dream.” Sadly, Davidson lost his own father in the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center when he was just seven years old. He has spoken repeatedly about the experience over the years, which undoubtedly changed his childhood forever.

Now, he looks forward to giving his own child the best possible upbringing, taking lessons from his own youth into account. “I assume you just try to give them what you didn’t have,” he said. “And what you didn’t like, [do] not do it.”
