Pete Wicks is debating whether to undertake a cosmetic procedure after noticing his face ‘drooping’.
The reality star rose to fame appearing on The Only Way is Essex from 2015 until 2022, then going on to compete on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
Now Pete, 36, has revealed he’s considering Botox after his skin broke out in ‘lumps and bumps’ during the BBC programme.
During the latest episode of his Staying Relevant podcast with Sam Thompson, Pete spoke about ‘still having people messaging asking what I’ve done to my face’.
‘I’m like “nothing’s happened”,’ he said before speaking about the fact he was considering it though.
‘I had a photoshoot and the glam squad doing my hair and all that sort of stuff, and I mentioned my skin’s been quite bad recently and I’ve been doing Strictly and all the other stuff and she literally said to me, “yeah, there’s a lot of lumps and bumps there, have you thought about Botox?” And I am thinking about it,’ he said.

‘I have no problem with people doing whatever makes them happy, but my face is drooping and I do feel at 36 years old I should maybe start looking at something,’ he continued.
Sam then joked the reason Pete could be having issues with his skin was because he didn’t ‘smile enough’.
Not missing his chance to then poke fun at Sam, Pete then said he wanted to avoid procedures he’d undergone after ones like using salmon sperm injections ‘didn’t go well’.
Although Sam said Botox didn’t have the desired result, Pete was worried it could make him look like a ‘kid’.
‘I lost a lot of weight on Strictly, the old wattle’s gone – my face has really slimmed and tightened up,’ he continued.

His comments came after Pete faced questions about his appearance on I’m A Celebrity in 2023.
Briefly appearing on the show to see Sam, who went on to win that season, Pete shocked many with his puffy face.
He then went on to reveal the change in his look was the result a ‘horrific reaction to mosquito bites’.
‘They saw my face and thought it was an all you can eat buffet,’ he joked before adding his face had ‘returned to normal following the brutal and unprovoked attack by Australian mosquitos’.
Strictly Come Dancing is streaming on BBC iPlayer.
