Peter Andre has shared his controversial addition to a classic dish that is sure to divide opinion.

The I’m A Celebrity star, 51, regularly shares his culinary creations with his social media followers and even released his own cookbook #ItsFine in 2023.

But his latest recipe is sure to enrage fellow cooking enthusiasts as he revealed the bizarre ingredient he adds to a spaghetti bolognese.

The father-of-five, who recently welcomed daughter Arabella with his wife Emily, shared that cooking is his outlet to unwind from the stresses of everyday life – but that his method for making the classic meal may infuriate others.

‘As you can imagine, it’s been pretty busy in our house recently and one of the things I love to do to switch off is cook. It has always been a passion of mine, and I love putting music on and making meals for the family,’ he told OK! Magazine.

‘I have many favourite dishes but one I like to make at the moment is classic spaghetti bolognese – but I’m quite controversial with my ingredients. I add Marmite!’

‘I don’t normally like it, but just a teaspoon in the sauce is amazing. There are other ingredients I add too, but everyone loves my pasta. If you haven’t tried it, I could make it for you! On that note… pasta la vista, baby.’

Speaking about his busy household, the TV personality has opened up on bonding with his newborn daughter.

Andre – who also shares 10-year-old daughter Amelia and six-year-old son Theo, as well as son Junior, 18, and 16-year-old daughter Princess with his ex-wife Katie Price, has revealed he has a different bond with his youngest child as he has more time than what he did when his other children were born.

He added: ‘I’ve not really had that chance before with the others because of work, so I’m grateful for how this has turned out.’

He continued to tell The Sun that all his children want to spend time with their sister, beaming: ‘Everyone wants time with her whenever they can. Junior goes to see her first thing.’
