A photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two children is going viral online â but there’s one problem: The picture isn’t real. According to Page Six, someone used AI to create a picture of Archie and Lilibet and placed it on a New Year’s card. The card was then shared on X where it has been circulated numerous times.
In the black and white photo are two kids who appear to be around the same age as Archie and Lilibet. The children are posing on what looks like a front stoop. The family’s “dogs” in the background only make things even more confusing. However, many royal watchers were quick to point out some obvious flaws in the photo, thus deducing that it was a fake.
The photo was shared around the Christmas holiday but has been making the rounds on the internet as 2025 approaches. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hadn’t addressed the Christmas card at the time of this writing.

It didn’t take long for X users to start finding curious things about the photo that claims to show Archie and Lilibet.
“Why does their hair look like that?!” one person wondered.
“They donât look anything like Harry and Meghan,” someone else said.
“Hidden hands and feet very strange. AI canât do hands and feet properly yet. Also b&w filter hides a whole lot of things like the red hair, the eye colour etc.,” a third comment read.
“That is NOT Archie! Thatâs AI,” a fourth X user added.

On December 16, 2024, Prince Harry and Meghan shared a holiday greeting card with the public.
“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” read the cardâs greeting.
Included on the card were six photos from the family’s year. It included only one picture of Archie and Lilibet and did not show the kids’ faces.
Fans loved to see Archie and Lilibet â even if they only were offered a glimpse.
“Oh my, is that Archie and Lillibet. Theyâve grown up so much,” one person commented on X.
“Those red hair genes are strong!! everyone looks so happy & healthy! A true blessing,â a second comment read.
