Actor Christian Slater showed off his family while he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday, June 9.
He was joined by his wife Brittany Lopez, and two of his children Eliana and Lena. The two married in December 2013, according to PEOPLE.
Prior to his second marriage, the actor shares two children with ex-wife Ryan Haddon. There children are Jaden and Eliana.
Slater also has a son that was born in 2024 with Lopez. He revealed on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in February of this year, his son was named Sullivan.
The actor had a few costars come to the event in support of Slater. His “Dexter: Original Sin” co-stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reno Wilson, Jasper Lewis and Alex Shimizu were in attendance.
Slater Gushed About His Family in His Speech
The 55-year-old dished on his family while he gave a speech while accepting the award in California.
“I have amazing and wonderful children [and] I can’t imagine my life without them,” he said. “They are the greatest.”
Slater had nothing but kind words for his wife Lopez.
“My wife is my best friend,” he began. “There she is, I mean talk about having a partner and someone on your side for this journey of life. I couldn’t have gotten any luckier, and I couldn’t be any more grateful for what you’ve brought to my life. I feel safe. I feel loved. I feel cared for. I feel seen.”
The “Heathers” actor continued with the heartfelt message to his family.
“Having a star on Hollywood Blvd is great, but none of this would have been possible without my family and the love I have today,” he concluded.
Slater Previously Said Fatherhood Is Different on the 2nd Go Around
The “Dexter: Original Sin” actor told PEOPLE in August 2024 become a father again at an older age is incredibly different.
âWow. I mean, it’s just different,â he told the outlet. âThe whole thing is different. I’m certainly a lot more present and I just love it.â
He added how he was scared when he originally became a father years ago.
âI think I was more scared of it the first go around and a little bit more confused, and I was very distracted,” Slater said. “And now, it’s all I really think about, and all I really care about, and all I want to be around. I’m happy to be in that situation.â
