Reality TV legend Charlotte Crosby has shared a worrying message with her followers after being rushed to hospital.

The 34-year-old revealed she’d been taken to A&E and is now recovering at home from an infection.

Charlotte wrote: ‘2 hospitals, 4 attempts at taking bloods, 2 attempts at fitting a canula and 7 hours later.

‘I’m home with finally the right medication and the first lot given intravenously. A very very long night last night!’

Alongside a selfie from hospital with her mum, Charlotte added: ‘My poor mam is also so poorly with a viral infection and can’t even open one eye anymore……and she stayed with me the whole time. We are both resting up today.’

The Geordie Shore star went on to share a clip showing them both recovering at home, writing: ‘She’s a very poorly mama.

‘She’s got a viral infection and I’ve got bacterial.

‘Both in the wars thank god Alba’s in nursery today because Jake’s working in London.’

This comes after Charlotte was hospitalised late last year with suspected pneumonia, after struggling to shake weeks of an illness.

Charlotte’s mum Letitia was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, while Charlotte was pregnant with her first child.

In an episode of her reality series Charlotte in Sunderland, she broke down in tears sharing the news, saying it had hit the family ‘like a tonne of bricks’.

‘She only went for a routine mammogram,’ she added.

‘There were no signs and no symptoms so the diagnosis has been a massive shock.’

She added that Letitia had tested positive for two types of cancer, and that she would have to start chemotherapy.

‘She might lose her hair and she is beside herself and thinks she might die,’ she shared.

‘She is even more upset because I am obviously pregnant and I have to tell her not to think like that.’

‘I’m living a nightmare,’ Charlotte added.

‘I’m trying to hold it together but the second it enters my head I will absolutely crumble because it’s my mum and she’s my best friend.

‘I just can’t even let that intrusive thought be in my mind for longer than five seconds. I forget I am even pregnant now and I am really feeling emotionally drained.’

Announcing in August the previous year that her mother had been diagnosed with the disease, Letitia has since had surgery to remove a tumour and went on to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy to rid her body of any remaining cancerous cells.
