RHONY Star Bethenny Frankel Weighs In On Meghan and Harry “Photogate”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had quite a night on November 8 when they attended Kris Jenner’s James Bond-themed 70th birthday party. The party was attended by a whole host of Hollywood celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Paris Hilton, Mariah Carey, and Snoop Dogg.  However, it was Meghan and Harry’s photos, or lack thereof, that made the most headlines. 

Former Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel added her two cents to the conversation in a recent Instagram video. She started the video off in a conversational tone, saying, “Okay, let’s talk about Kris Jenner’s birthday party and the Harry and Meghan photo of it all.” 

She acknowledged fans who were asking about it and said she wants to talk about it. However, she did note that it “doesn’t matter at all.” She said the game was elevated to begin with by the fact that it was “Jeff and Lauren’s home.” The soiree was thrown for Kris by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s home in Beverly Hills. She had several good things to say about Bezos, including how powerful he is and that even politicians bow down to him. 

Bethenny Frankel Appeared to Stand Up For Meghan and Harry 

In Frankel’s opinion, Meghan and Harry have “rules they have to follow” if they ever want to speak to their family again. She drew the conclusion that “Lauren Sánchez is Meghan Markle with no rules.” She feels like Meghan and Harry wanted to appear understated and modest with their “muted tones” and “this is a different look.” 

She claimed that she couldn’t imagine going to that event and not imagining that your picture would end up somewhere. However, she stood up for them by saying, “They didn’t do anything wrong. It’s just been hard to be them because they’ve been riding between two worlds for a long time.”

Meghan and Harry Photos Were Deleted By Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner

Meghan and Harry posed for photos alongside Kris Jenner at her lavish birthday party, which in turn, ended up on Kim Kardashian and Jenner’s Instagram pages. The photos were taken down mere hours later. 

The removal of the photos prompted a flurry of speculation, including that Kim was understandably puzzled. Especially seeing as that same night, Meghan and Harry attended the Baby2Baby Gala and it overlapped with Remembrance events back in the U.K.

The whole debacle has been dubbed “photogate” by the press and has left many fans scratching their heads and speculating as to what the reasoning could be.
