<p id=”par-1_47″>When <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-harry/?swcfpc=1″>Prince Harry</a> and Meghan Markle <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-meghan-markles-net-worth-since-leaving-royal-family.html/”>stepped down from royal duties</a> and moved to America, they did not go quietly. The Sussexes seemed to be on a mission to try and take down Britain’s most famous family and began <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-now-regrets-oprah-winfrey-interview-meghan-feels-differently-royal-author-says.html/”>airing out the royals’ dirty laundry publicly</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-2_60″>Some of the things made public really upset King Charles but because the monarch loves his youngest son, many believed that the door for a reconciliation was always open. But according to a royal biographer, there is a line Harry crossed that the king can’t forgive and because of that, the Duke of Sussex “is on his own” now. </p>

<p id=”par-3_48″>Royal expert Christopher Andersen, who has authored several books about the royal family, explained that it’s what Prince Harry wrote about Queen Camilla (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/camilla-parker-bowles-was-fired-from-her-posh-job-before-she-married-prince-charles.html/”>formerly Camilla Parker Bowles</a>) in <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harrys-memoir-spare-now-become-one-most-discarded-books-time.html/”>his memoir<em> Spare</em></a> that has upset the king most. Andersen insisted that the king is holding a grudge over that.</p>
<p id=”par-4_52″>“I think people have to realize that the one thing that Charles finds unforgivable is criticism of Camilla,” Andersen said per <a href=”https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/prince-harrys-jabs-queen-camilla-unforgivable-king-charles-royal-own-expert” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Fox News Digital</a>. “Unfortunately for Harry … he said some pretty devastating things about her. He made it clear that he felt she was … the villain in the piece. </p>
<p id=”par-5_35″>“I think that still bothers the king, and I don’t know that it will be easy for him to [forgive]. I don’t think they’ll ever forgive Harry for that. [The duke] is on his own.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_73″>The last time Harry saw his father was in February when hopped on a flight to London after learning the king had cancer. A <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/queen-camilla-outraged-prince-harrys-attitude-meeting-king-charles-according-palace-courtier.html/”>courtier confirmed</a> that the prince did not ask for Palace approval before he flew in and claimed that during his brief visit Camilla “left no doubt he isn’t wanted back.” They added that the queen could not take Harry “using her husband’s cancer [for] a ‘loving son’” PR stunt.</p>

<p id=”par-7_36″>It’s not just the king who didn’t appreciate Harry writing things about his wife. Prince William is reportedly disgusted that his brother brought up the Princess of Wales (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/dont-be-fooled-this-is-what-kate-middleton-was-really-like-in-school.html/”>formerly known as Kate Middleton</a>) in <em>Spare</em>. </p>
<p id=”par-8_51″>William is also livid about some of the other stuff Harry said publicly about the family, and relations between them at this time are non-existent. In fact, when Kate <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/real-reason-kate-middleton-didnt-announce-cancer-sooner.html/”>announced her cancer diagnosis</a>, the Sussexes found out the same time the rest of the public did via her video message. </p>
<p id=”par-9_55″>One of the Prince of Wales’ friends previously told the <a href=”https://www.thedailybeast.com/prince-william-backed-king-charles-decision-to-evict-harry-and-meghan” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Daily Beast</a> that William has not forgiven his brother as he “feels utterly betrayed .. He hates him for what he has done to the family in the books and interviews … It’s no secret William would prefer it if Harry never stepped foot in England again.”</p>
