<p id=”par-2_53″>Some news outlets reported that Harry and Meghan were left off the guest list because Prince William, who served as an usher, was attending the affair. Other outlets, however, claim that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harrys-reason-skipping-hugh-grosvenors-wedding-besides-prince-william-according-expert-thats-probably-not-what-you-want.html/?swcfpc=1″>did receive an invite but declined</a> to avoid any tension running into the Prince of Wales.</p>

<p id=”par-4_30″>Daily Mail diary editor Richard Eden spoke to <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OjGE5Ba3IM” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Palace Confidential</a> about Harry not attending Grosvenor’s wedding and how the prince keeping his distance from his longtime pal is concerning. </p>
<p id=”par-5_36″>“It does have worrying echoes for me of the way that Meghan has become estranged from her own family,” Eden said. “You might remember that few members of her family were present at the royal wedding.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_36″>Eden is referring to the fact that only Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, attended the Sussexes’ nuptials and explained that he finds it a bit “disturbing” that Harry has never met <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-was-able-to-marry-meghan-markle-because-she-didnt-do-this-1-thing-in-her-past.html/”>his wife</a>‘s father, Thomas Markle. </p>
<p id=”par-7_17″>“Prince Harry hasn’t even met his father-in-law. For me, I do find it slightly disturbing,” he shared. </p>
<p id=”par-8_58″>The expert added: “Some of his old friends drifted away after he started going out with Meghan. But Hugh, the Duke of Westminster, didn’t. He stayed friends and this was shown by the fact he agreed to become godfather to Prince Archie. So the fact that Harry has not come back even for his wedding is very significant.”</p>

But many believe the day won’t ever come when he gets a chance to see Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. </p>
<p id=”par-10_21″>Relationship expert Louella Alderson expained that it “would take a lot” to fix things between Meghan and her dad. </p>
<p id=”par-11_64″>Alderson told <a href=”https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/us-celebrity-news/meghan-markles-relationship-estranged-dad-31602250″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Mirror</a>: “It’s possible for relationships to mend and heal over time, but ultimately, it will depend on both parties being willing to put in effort and work towards reconciliation. It would take a lot of forgiveness and understanding from Meghan to repair her relationship with her father and it’s unclear if she is ready or willing to do so at this point.”</p>
