Phil Robertson Passed Away Before ‘Duck Dynasty: The Revival’

It is a challenging time for the Robertson family as they grieve the loss of Phil, who died on May 25., 2025. He was 79. Before the announcement of his death, which several family members shared in a statement online, Willie discussed his father’s health.

“Dad’s not doing well at all. It’s definitely progressing,” Willie told Us Weekly on May 20. “And mom has shown the same type of symptoms of Alzheimer’s or dementia. It’s just part of life — and mom has her good days.”

In the same interview, he also revealed that while his mother, Kay Robertson, will be on their new show, she would not be a regular. “She’s probably not going to be able to do that in the future,” Willie said. “She also has more health problems, as well. But we’re there.”

“Duck Dynasty: The Revival” premieres on June 1 at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.
