Salma Hayek’s Daughter Is So Grown & Gorgeous on 18th Birthday: PHOTOS

Salma Hayek is marking a family milestone with love, laughter, and heartfelt words. The Grown Ups star, 59, celebrated daughter Valentina’s 18th birthday by sharing a carousel of sweet family photos and videos on Instagram. One clip captured the mother-daughter duo dancing together in matching silk dresses, while another showed Hayek proudly posing with Valentina and her husband, François-Henri Pinault.

“We ate, we danced, we laughed, we loved… and we kept the party going all weekend. Happy birthday mi cielo, celebrating you never feels long enough 🎂💃❤️,” Hayek captioned the post, also writing her message in Spanish.

A Heartfelt Message From Mom

The actress also shared a touching throwback photo of Valentina as a child, calling her the family’s “beautiful dancing queen.”

“My beautiful dancing queen. Today you turned 18 !!!!! So many things have changed in your life, but you are always soooo you,” Hayek wrote. “A kind passionate heart, a wise soul full of magic, a unique unstoppable force of nature with a witty sense of humor and stubborn tenacity.”

She continued, “Some things will never change. We love you forever and although you were always ahead of your years you will always be in my heart my dream daughter. Feliz cumpleaños Valentina Paloma ♥️.”

Hayek & Pinault’s Family Journey

Hayek and Pinault welcomed Valentina in 2007, one year after meeting. The couple married in a civil ceremony at Paris’ 6th Arrondissement City Hall on Valentine’s Day in 2009 before hosting a lavish wedding in Venice, Italy, that April, where Valentina served as a flower girl.

Over the years, Hayek has shared how deeply she values motherhood. When Valentina turned 17, the actress admitted she was already feeling “separation anxiety” as her only child edged closer to adulthood.

Looking Ahead to a New Chapter

In an interview with People magazine earlier this year, Hayek opened up about preparing for the life change of becoming an empty nester.

“When you’re a Mexican Lebanese mother, it’s a very difficult thought because we like them close,” she explained.

She added that she has devoted herself to her family for 18 years but is now looking forward to new opportunities: “Once this happens, I’m going to devote myself to my community, to my craft. And [François-Henri] is very excited for me to really try to go and explore what my greatest potentials are.”
