For movie lovers, it was a moment worth waiting decades for. Sandra Bullock, 61, was seen in London filming “Practical Magic 2,” the sequel to the 1998 favorite she starred in with Nicole Kidman, and fans couldn’t hide their excitement.

On Monday afternoon, stylist and journalist Scott Da Silva-Wells caught the actress filming right outside his front door and quickly shared the exciting moment.

Dressed in a chic long navy coat, ballet flats, and carrying a glam tote bag, Bullock looked radiant as her trademark mermaid waves billowed in the breeze.

Between takes, she flashed smiles and waves to onlookers.

Da Silva-Wells captured the set moment in a short video that quickly went viral, racking up more than 200,000 views.

“It was a pinch me moment to see THE Sandra Bullock, and of course Dianne Wiest, outside my door on a Monday morning,” he told HELLO!.

“It was amazing to see her in action, and she even greeted some fans who were standing by her trailer with a big smile and a wave.”

Reflecting on the long-awaited sequel, he added, “I cannot wait for ‘Practical Magic 2.’ The first is such a cult classic with a brilliant cast that the second can’t fail with both Sandra and Nicole coming back.”

A Long-Awaited Sequel With Nicole Kidman

Bullock’s return to acting is a major moment for fans, especially since she announced a career break in 2022 to spend more time with her family. Two years later, she and Kidman confirmed that “Practical Magic 2” was officially in development.

On July 18, Kidman posted a behind-the-scenes video of the pair on Instagram, embracing in front of a headstone at a cemetery. “The witches are back,” Kidman captioned the post. “Owens sisters’ first day on set!”

The two stars are reprising their roles as Sally and Gillian Owens, sisters who come from a long line of witches.

What to Expect From ‘Practical Magic 2’

While plot details are still under wraps, the sequel is reportedly based on a later installment in Alice Hoffman’s book series. The first film followed the Owens sisters as they battled a dark family curse that doomed the men they loved.

As per Deadline, producers said in a statement, “Twenty-five years ago, Sally, Gillian, Aunt Jet, and Aunt Franny flew off the pages of Alice Hoffman’s beloved novel and into theaters around the world, and we are thrilled to bring the Owens family back to the big screen. The enduring affection for these characters has been our inspiration to deliver the next installment in the Owens’ story to new fans, and those who’ve been with us since the beginning.”

With Bullock and Kidman back together, excitement is already brewing for the magical reunion fans have waited decades to see.
