‘Saturday Night Live’ Writer Shares Emotional Plea to Help Find Missing Sister

“Saturday Night Live” writer Jimmy Fowlie is in great distress as he appeals to the public to find his missing sister. His family is searching for answers about Christina Lynn Downer, who authorities say has not been heard from since late November.

Fowlie shared a missing persons report issued by the Los Angeles Police Department, urging anyone with information to contact authorities as concern for her safety continues to mount.

Jimmy Fowlie Shares Public Plea on Social Media

On Monday, December 22, Fowlie, 40, shared the LAPD missing persons report on Instagram, which included two photos of his sister.

“My sister has been missing, and we are worried that she isn’t safe,” he wrote.

Fowlie also noted that his sister’s married name is Downer and that she may also be known as Christina Fowlie.

“Her married name is Downer, but she may go by Christina Fowlie,” he added, urging followers to share the post widely to help spread the word.

LAPD Details About Christina Lynn Downer

According to the LAPD report, as reported by People, Christina Lynn Downer is 38 years old with brown hair and brown eyes. She is listed as 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds.

Police said Downer “was last contacted in late November.”

“Christina’s family and friends are concerned for her safety,” the LAPD stated in the report.

Fowlie also included contact information for anyone who may have seen his sister.

“Please share this so that if anyone has seen her, they can give any information to the police. The phone number is 213 996 1800, and her case number is 25237639. She was last seen in LA. Thank you,” he wrote.

Authorities continue to urge anyone with details about Downer’s whereabouts to contact police as the investigation remains ongoing.

Jimmy Fowlie’s Work on ‘Saturday Night Live’

Fowlie began writing for “Saturday Night Live” in 2022 and is best known for co-writing the viral sketch “Domingo,” formally titled “Domingo: Bridesmaid Speech,” which aired during the Ariana Grande-hosted episode of the NBC series on October 12 of last year.

His recent work also includes writing for the 2024 Netflix special “A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter.”

In addition, he has written for and appeared in projects such as the LGBT-themed comedy web series “Go-Go Boy Interrupted” and the Max series “The Other Two.”

As the search continues, Fowlie and his family remain hopeful that sharing Christina’s information will lead to answers and help bring her home safely.
