A comedian has gone viral for giving a heckler a piece of her mind during her show.

We rarely get the opportunity to put people on blast in front of a big crowd, but Natalie Cuomo, 29, did just that, and rightfully so.

While closing out her weekend show in Washington D.C. someone decided to clap back after she implied that he was in a gay relationship.

‘It’s not my fault that you don’t have material. I can roast you too, you can’t roast all of us and get nothing,’ he said.

Natalie appeared calm at first as the audience reacted to his comment, as she suggested that he was ‘afraid’ that she called him gay as a joke.

After he was insistent on taking the mic from her, the comedian didn’t hold back.

‘There’s so many people coming together to be supportive and you’re putting negative,’ she began.

Noticing that he was looking away, Natalie yelled in his face: ‘No, look me in the eyes! You’re putting negative f***ing energy out there!

‘This is the last show of my f***ing weekend, look me in the f***ing eyes! It’s a sold-out show and you want to say mean s*** to me? Don’t f***ing do that!’

The crowd were living for the fierce confrontation as her response was met with enthusiastic cheers before calmly telling the man: ‘You can leave.’

Natalie has shared the verbal altercation across her social media channels, with the views pushing close to 1million on TikTok.

She captioned the clip: ‘Right after I said how grateful I was for everyone being there and selling out the show, this little man in the front row decided to let his true colors shine. Always stand up for yourself!! And if you’re going to be rude, at least have the decency to LOOK ME IN THE EYES.’

Although she was met with praise from the audience, people online didn’t know how to feel about the way she handled it.

While Burgleyourturts banded it the ‘hottest thing I’ve ever seen,’ Kaelennn added: ‘Comedians that can’t take a joke is actually so cringe.’

Kendal commented: ‘Mind you this is my first impression of you, and I absolutely fell in LOVE.’

AaronSpicyGinger added: ‘Yes! Here he thought he had any sort of control over YOUR show, THANK YOU for putting him in his place.’
