A woman was removed from the courtroom during Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ court trial this morning, after screaming and disrupting the proceedings.

The 55-year-old is facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution – he has denied all allegations against him.

The hearings kicked off last month in New York, with his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and Kid Cudi among those who have taken the stand so far.

As proceedings began earlier today, multiple US outlets reported that Judge Arun Subramanian was forced to take action when a woman began yelling ‘Diddy’ and a string of profanities.

According to People Magazine, she could be heard screaming: ‘These motherf**kers are laughing at you.

‘You’re laughing at a Black man’s legacy.’

Combs is thought to have remained seated during the incident, but turned around when Judge Subramanian ordered officers to remove the woman.

The heckler has not yet been identified but the Washington Post reports that she told journalists after her exit: ‘I’m tired of seeing everyone treating Diddy the way they are.

‘I said my piece.’

Jury members were not in the room at the time, but were escorted in shortly before Eddy Garcia – a former security supervisor at the InterContinental hotel in LA – appeared in the witness box.

Jury selection is set to begin May 5, 2025, in the blockbuster trial of Combs, the music mogul whose star fell dramatically following his incarceration on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Garcia was questioned over the hotel’s CCTV footage from 2016, which was obtained and broadcast by CNN last year.

It showed Combs appearing to assault Ventura and drag her across the floor, before shoving and kicking her.

The surveillance tape has been widely circulated both in and out of court since it emerged in 2024 – with the mogul allegedly purchasing it himself for $50,000 the day after the incident took place, seemingly in an attempt to prevent it from becoming public.

After it first became public, he issued a public apology in a video shared on social media.

While on the stand last month, Ventura was questioned about the footage and told the court that she had come to an agreement with the hotel.

Under questioning from the defense over finances, she confirmed that the arrangement ‘had been reached in the past month’, having negotiated a $10million sum.

Combs is facing five charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The court proceedings began last month and are expected to last several weeks – if convicted, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.

The trial continues.
