He also used snippets of it in a recent song. Combs reportedly had no idea West was recording their conversation. It has placed him at the center of a battle between West and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/kim-kardashian/?swcfpc=1″>Kim Kardashian</a>.</p>

<p id=”par-2_32″>West has been one of the only <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kanye-west-defends-diddy-during-antisemitic-twitter-rant.html/”>vocal supporters of Combs</a>. He recently spoke to him on a phone call, in which Combs shared how his experience behind bars has been.</p>
<p id=”par-3_42″>“Tell you real from the front line. This s*** is wicked, wicked, wicked, so you be careful,” Combs said on the call, per <a target=”_blank” href=”https://nypost.com/2025/03/18/entertainment/what-sean-diddy-combs-said-to-kanye-west-in-prison-call-after-kim-kardashian-drama-over-daughter-north-west/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The New York Post</a>. “You can’t do nothing for just … I need you out there, you hear me?”</p>
<p id=”par-4_20″>Combs went on to say that his life in prison is “f***ing sad,” and encouraged West to continue making music.</p>
<p id=”par-5_41″>“When I get out there, man, I want to see you f***ing tear down the stadiums,” he said. “I need to see you back on that stage, f***ing actually rapping and f***ing performing and everything. I be dreaming of that s***.”</p>

<p id=”par-6_29″>Combs reportedly did not know he was being recorded during the conversation. West also used the recording in the opening of his song “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_30″>Shortly before West released “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” Kardashian reportedly sent her ex-husband paperwork trying to block it. Their daughter North West also appears on the song.</p>
<p id=”par-11_21″>“I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song,” the text reads, per <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.tmz.com/2025/03/15/kanye-west-kim-kardashian-fight-over-new-song-diddy-north/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TMZ</a>. “To protect her.”</p>
<p id=”par-12_13″>Kardashian trademarked her children’s names. West responded furiously, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kanye-west-allegedly-told-kardashian-kill-stop-battle-song-diddy.html/”>telling her to fix that</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-13_27″>“Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout,” he wrote, adding, “You’re going to have to kill me.”</p>
