Sir Rod Stewart’s son Sean Stewart is reportedly in the middle of divorcing his wife, Jody Weintraub, only one year after shock Vegas marriage.
Sean, 43, the eldest son of British rock icon Sir Rod and model Alana Stewart, married TV producer Jody in a last-minute Las Vegas wedding in February 2023 after a Valentine’s Day proposal, much to the surprise of his parents.
Jody – mother to a five-year-old son Doc from her first marriage with Hunter Adams – is best known as the daughter of late Ocean’s Eleven producer Jerry Weintraub.
But a source close to the couple has now revealed that they have been separated for months and have filed for divorce.
‘They were doing so well for so long but then things went haywire earlier this year,’ the insider told the Daily Mail.
‘They realised they were not a fit for each other after they started to fight a lot over everyday things.’

The source added that Sean has moved on with a blonde businesswoman with whom he has ‘really hit it off’. The new couple has reportedly been going on dates in Malibu.
Sean and Jody regularly crossed paths with one another for years thanks to sharing a mutual best friend, producer Courtenay Semal.
According to People, after he proposed to Jody, the entrepreneur called his mum Alana, 79, who was married to Sir Rod between 1979 to 1984.
Alana initially thought Sean was joking but when she discovered it was real she was ‘so, so happy’ for the newlyweds, a source told the publication.
Sir Rod reportedly also shared he was ‘so happy to hear the news’. They got married in casual, everyday clothing.

The pair also bought a house together in Los Angeles although it is unclear what its fate will be.
The former Sons of Hollywood star also owns a clothing company, Dirty Weekend. he recently spoke with the Daily Mail about his workout journey to losing 40 pounds which included waking up at 4am everyday to lift weights.
‘It’s not comfortable having weight on you, it feels awful, and slows you down. So I decided to finally do something about it.’ he told the publication.
Sean is now tipped to be filming his own TV show which will highlight his career as a designer.
The family also recently celebrated the marriage of Sean’s brother Liam, 29, who tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend Nicole Arkutovich, also 29.

‘I’m immensely proud to have witness the beautiful wedding ceremony of my son Liam to his bride Nicole,’ he wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post at the time.
‘What a wonderful union of The Stewart’s and The Artukovich’s. May they continue to find joy, love and laughter for as long as they may live and produce many more baby’s to join their little 1 year old boy, Louie [sic]’.
The singer also shared a bizarre photo from the event of him dropping his trousers at the bar while stood next to his youngest son Aiden, 13.
He wrote the caption: ‘How to embarrass your youngest at the hotel bar after a long weekend of activities.’
Last month Sir Rod was invited to a charity event hosted by King Charles with his wife of 14 years, Penny Lancaster, which was also attended by former football pro David Beckham.
The Forever Young singer made a quip about David’s lack of knighthood during a small speech in front of the monarch. He later added: ‘Someone has to lighten the atmosphere in the room you know – he’s a good sport.’
