<p id=”par-2_36″>Kody and Robyn Brown’s entrance into <em>Sister Wives</em> <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sister-wives-tell-all-host-expose-kody-robyn-brown-deception-19-seasons-lies-tape.html/?swcfpc=1″>season 19</a>, episode 16 showed the couple riding ATV bikes on the family’s Coyote Pass property. Robyn hit a series of rocks and was thrown off her four-wheeler.</p>
<p id=”par-3_28″>As she lay motionless, instead of calling for help, Kody removed her helmet and got her on her feet. Robyn claimed she hit her head and was hurt.</p>
<p id=”par-4_43″>However, rather than slowly ride home to tend to her injuries, the couple entered into what appeared to be a scripted discussion about their life as a monogamist couple. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sister-wives-drama-kody-brown-blatant-lies-pale-compared-robyn-manipulations.html/?swcfpc=1″>Robyn feigned ignorance</a> about why <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sister-wives-house-cards-collapsing-will-fans-get-ending-want.html/?swcfpc=1″>Kody couldn’t repair</a> his relationships with Meri and Janelle.</p>
<p id=”par-5_34″>Kody thus reminded Robyn that Janelle and Meri both said they wanted out of their spiritual unions. He also acted blameless, saying that Christine, Meri, and Janelle were the ones who changed, not him.</p>
<p id=”par-6_47″>Ironically, it was Robyn who called Kody out for rewriting history, when they have both done that throughout the past several seasons. However, Robyn didn’t want to be held responsible for the destruction of the family so she projected this claim onto Kody to save her reputation.</p>

<p id=”par-7_46″>One of the most infuriating moments of this highly scripted scene was when Robyn Brown claimed Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown focused more on their older children than their husband. She claimed they changed and wanted to spend more time with their kids than Kody Brown.</p>
<p id=”par-8_39″>As a mother, Robyn should have understood Meri, Christine, and Janelle placing importance on their children’s well-being. Especially since their father was never a primary presence in their lives the way he was in the lives of Robyn’s children.</p>
<p id=”par-9_21″>She called the OG 13 kids “outside of the core family.” However, Robyn didn’t explain what she meant by that statement.</p>
<p id=”par-10_66″>Kody put himself on the perimeter of his children’s lives due to Robyn and her children, who were outside the original core family unit. He focused on cultivating and maintaining a relationship with them because Robyn likely required him to do so, versus the trio of other women who were used to Kody’s inaccessibility most days (and nights) and didn’t put as many demands on him.</p>
<p id=”par-11_43″>Robyn’s statement is infuriating in light of Garrison Brown’s death, which the show is scheduled to address later this season. Kody’s inability to maintain good relationships with his adult children led to his estrangement from most of them, including Garrison, before his passing.</p>
