Stanley Tucci is opening up about love, aging, and the passage of time with his wife, Felicity Blunt. In a candid new interview with The Times of London, the 64-year-old “The Devil Wears Prada” actor admitted that while their 21-year age gap has never shaken their bond, it does leave him with a quiet sadness.

âI am sad that I wonât see her get old and that I wonât be able to look after her if she needs looking after,â Tucci shared in the profile published Saturday, September 27.
âI think thereâs something really beautiful about people aging together. And unless thereâs some miracle, that canât happen.â
How Tucci & Felicity Fell in Love

Tucci first met Felicity, now 44, at the 2006 premiere of “The Devil Wears Prada,” where he co-starred with her sister, Emily Blunt. Their paths crossed again four years later at Emilyâs 2010 wedding to actor John Krasinski, where their connection deepened, as per People.
Romance soon followed, and the couple tied the knot in 2012. Together, they welcomed their son, Matteo, in 2015 and their daughter, Emilia, in 2018. Tucci also has three children from his first marriage to Kate Tucci, who died of breast cancer in 2009.
Felicityâs Support Through Tucciâs Cancer Battle

In the years after their marriage, Tucci faced another difficult chapter when he was diagnosed with cancer. The actor admitted he was hesitant to begin treatment after losing his first wife and close friends to the disease.
âIt was awful to go through it after my wife had died and friends had died,â he shared. But it was Felicity who encouraged him to move forward with chemotherapy and radiation. The treatment required six months of feeding tube use, but today Tucci views it with gratitude.
âI am happier than I was before,â he said. âThe only thing Iâm not happy about is how hard it was for Felicity, who was giving birth while I was getting treatment. And of course it was hard for the kids.â
A New Perspective on Life & Love
Now in remission, Tucci said the experience has left him with a stronger sense of self. âIâm more clear-headed than I was before. I have a stronger sense of self,â he explained. âIn 15 years Iâll be 80 years old and thereâs a lot of stuff that I want to do before then.â
Despite the age difference, Tucci remains grateful for the love he shares with Felicity and the life theyâve built together. His vulnerable confession highlights not only his deep love for his wife but also his hope that their time together continues to inspire and bring joy.
