Stars Post Never-Before-Seen Photos of the Late Legend Rob Reiner

Rob Reiner

Hollywood is still in mourning following the tragic deaths of both Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner. Sadly found dead at their Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 14, the passing of the legendary actor and director has led to an outpouring of grief and tributes from across the world of entertainment.

Reiner was a well-known and popular figure within Hollywood and the wider entertainment industry. He starred in films such as “The Wolf of Wall Street” where he portrayed Leonardo DiCaprio’s father as well as directing acclaimed movies like “When Harry Met Sally” and “Stand By Me.”

It is little surprise then that so many famous faces have come out over the last two days not only to pay tribute to Reiner but also share intimate photos with him, — many of which have never been seen before.

Kate Hudson shared a photograph of the sadly departed couple in their younger days and directing on set.

Actress Zooey Deschanel made a post containing several pictures of herself with Rob Reiner.

Rob Reiner’s Final Film After Tragic Passing

Although it is perhaps fitting that Reiner’s final project that he both directed, co-wrote, and starred in was “Spinal Tap II: The End Continues,” it is not the final film that he is involved in. First of all, there is the upcoming 2026 concert film “Spinal Tap Stonehenge: The Final Finale.”

However, Reiner is also listed as an executive producer on a sequel to the 2017 thriller “Wind River.” Although it has no release date yet, “Wind River: Rising” — otherwise known as “Wind River: The Next Chapter” — will likely be the final release featuring Reiner’s name in the credits. However, it isn’t clear exactly what involvement he has had with the movie.
