‘The man was riding a bike and wearing a black balaclava. He rode straight at me and took my phone clean out of my hands.’

Figures have shown that a phone is stolen every six minutes in the English capital with only 2% recovered. Fortunately, the star was able to get her property back.

‘He rode away with it but luckily dropped my phone so I got it back. Terrifying!

‘On a positive note, there are some lovely people out there. Luckily a lovely gentleman witnessed it and came over to help me. Thank you to whoever you are,’ she said per the Daily Mail.

The star competed in the most recent season of Strictly Come Dancing and was paired with Johannes Radebe. The couple made it to the semi-finals before coming in fourth place.

The elimination came after she skidded across the dancefloor in a blunder that lacked her usual grace and was immediately spotted by the judges.

The tennis player signed up for the BBC competition just a few months after her husband Mel Coleman died of colon cancer in May 2023 aged 60.

His diagnosis came as a shock just weeks before his death so the star was still reeling from his passing as she joined the competition.

Just a few weeks ago on May 24, Annabel marked the one-year anniversary of her husband’s passing with a sweet image of him on Instagram.

The caption read: ‘1 year today Miss you so much Thank you to everyone for your love and support.’
