Strictly Come Dancing 2025 star Vicky Pattison has been slated for a questionable act with one of her beloved dogs.

The Geordie Shore alumna, who has been a regular on our screens since 2011, is the proud owner of Max and Milo, having adopted the pooches with her husband, Ercan Ramadan.

While she often posts adorable snaps of her four-legged friends on social media, her latest dog content has raised eyebrows and even been branded ‘disgusting’ by some followers.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Vicky, 37, shared her collaboration with dog food brand Butternut Box.

The video showed a very excitable Vicky sitting on an outdoor bench with her mouth wide open while her black Labrador happily licked around her face.

‘I can’t help it,’ Vicky said.

Before admitting she also does the same thing, her friend scolded: ‘You are gammy!’

‘I’m so sorry,’ Vicky apologised, covering her mouth with both hands.

‘The thing is, I do that too,’ her friend confessed, causing Vicky to laugh with joy and exclaim, ‘Yes!’

‘And like, you know, it makes them happy,’ she added, leaning back into her dog.

While the I’m A Celeb winner obviously saw no harm in the interaction, several commenters felt otherwise.

‘I love my dogs like my kids but nooooooo i couldn’t 🤮’, commented @theglitzyballooncompany.

Feeling very strongly on the matter, @xx.hayley86.xx raged: ‘This is so disgusting. Then you kiss your partner and kids after that, spreading bacteria’.

‘What. Did. I. Just. See 😮’, wrote a shocked coachnic__.

An irate @jellybearellie chimed in: ‘THAT IS FOWL – i don’t understand how people let their dogs lick their face… that tongue been to horrible places’.

Others said that while they ‘love’ their dogs, it’s a hard ‘no’ on the mouth licking due to the ‘dangerous’ bacteria they can carry.

Some did come to Vicky’s defence, though, with @ashleighsimonot calling the video ‘so funny’ and @turnerstravels54 declaring: ‘Yes! I do this too 😂’

Vicky, who married labourer and builder Ercan, 31, last year, is set to return to television nationwide in a matter of weeks when she takes part in Strictly.

While the identity of her professional partner is currently still under wraps, the outspoken reality star has been hard at work in training, feeling the full impact of some grim injuries.

Giving fans an update as she perfects her technique ahead of live shows commencing, Vicky likened the first day of rehearsals to being ‘hit by a car,’ sharing a snap of her blistered-up feet.

‘If I was doubting my ability before.. then I REALLY am now!!!’, she said in the caption.

‘Dancing is SO HARD! No wonder those pros are all drop dead gorgeous 😂😂😂 I feel like I’ve been hit by a car and I’ve already got blisters.. WTF??? 😂 A serious new found appreciation for everyone who’s ever taken part!

‘BUT… what an amazing day, the team are incredible, the celebs are so wonderful and the pros are an absolute joy.. 🤩’

She added: ‘If I hang around long enough… I think I’ll really love my new family 😂😍✨ I’m off to think about my life choices and apologise to all the fellas I stepped all over today! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️’

Upon being confirmed for this year’s Strictly, Vicky told This Morning that she was ‘terrified’, due to not being a ‘natural dancer’.

‘However, it’s such an amazing opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone and to challenge myself in a completely new way, and I just really hope I don’t make too much of a fool of myself!’, she added.

Other celebs competing for the Glitter Ball trophy this series are Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis, social media influencer George Clarke, drag queen La Voix, Love Islander Dani Dyer, and Lioness Karen Carney.

They’ll take to the dancefloor alongside Lorraine’s Ross King, The Apprentice contestant Thomas Skinner, trailblazing model Ellie Goldstein, and EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal.

Alas, Game of Thrones icon Kristian Nairn announced earlier in the week that he had to withdraw due to medical reasons. He has been replaced by Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope.
