Strictly Come Dancing’s Thomas Skinner has shared some words about ‘mistakes’ after he admitted to cheating on his wife.
The Apprentice star, 34, married Sinéad Chambers in 2022, at which point they already shared a two-year-old son.
Ahead of his Strictly debut – which kicks off this weekend – Skinner revealed he cheated on his wife in a ‘two-week fling’ shortly after the pair tied the knot.
Skinner admitted to being unfaithful to his wife – who he welcomed identical twin girls with in 2023 – and she forgave him.
However, earlier today the woman in question came out with a totally different tale, claiming their affair spanned months, and that he ’emotionally tortured’ her.

Now Skinner has taken to social media with a post about owning mistakes, which he has since deleted.
‘My beautiful wife Sinead has made me a chicken n cus cus salad. Had a full day training at Strictly that my legs are burning, but honestly enjoying it so much,’ he said.

‘The diet is in full swing (still not had a pint or a bit of chocolate). Hope you all had a wonderful day. Keep on going you lovely lot.
‘When you make a mistake no matter how long ago or how big or small. There are only three things you should do about it: admit it, learn from it, and definitely don’t repeat it.
‘Watching a Disney film with the kids and looking forward to an early night. Love you all.’
Speaking to The Sun just one week before taking to the dancefloor for the first time, Skinner shared what had happened, describing the incident as ‘the biggest mistake of [his] life.’
‘I met her in a pub,’ he began, talking of Amy-Lucy O’Rourke, the 35-year-old aesthetician and mother of one, who has since refuted Skinner’s side of the story.

‘I had a fling. It was nothing more than that. It was the one time; it was a mistake,’ he continued.
Describing the aftermath, Skinner said: ‘I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it. I felt so guilty. I told my wife. I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn’t thinking, where I didn’t appreciate what I had.
‘My wife is the best thing that’s ever happened. I’m so lucky she forgave me.’
Skinner described the moment he came clean to Chambers as ‘terrible’ and ‘the worst thing [he’s] ever had to do.’
The former Celebrity MasterChef star continued: ‘I’m a very, very open book and I don’t hide anything from my wife. She was obviously distraught, upset. Didn’t think I’d do that to her.

‘When I told my wife, I fully understood if she was to never speak to me again.’
He continued: ‘The best advice I can give anyone is to be honest and own up. Because we are in an incredible place now. We are strong. It’s forgotten about.’
However, Amy-Lucy has now come out and accused Skinner of lying about their fling, claiming it was a fully blown affair.
She told the Daily Mail: ‘It makes me really angry that his narrative is that he told her.
‘He did not tell her. I can’t believe he’s trying to make out that he did the honest thing. He did not, he tried to keep the lie up for weeks and was torturing me emotionally.
‘He was playing me and Sinead off against each other. Telling me one thing, telling her another.’
O’Rourke also provided the publication with Ring doorbell footage from the time, in which Skinner can be seen shouting outside her house and banging on the door. In the footage, O’Rourke tells him to go away and answers the door to tell him her son is asleep.
The aesthetician has provided photos and videos of the pair, claiming their affair was conducted over months and they went out together as a couple.
‘Thomas told me I was the love of his life and sold me an absolute dream,’ she told the Mail. ‘He told me that he was in a loveless relationship of convenience.’
