The role meant so much to so many, Lucci included. Her long-running performance as Erica Kane earned her critical praise and a legion of loyal fans. Her time on the show also saw her character marry many men, and she playfully revealed who her favorite on-screen husband was in a Q&A segment, while chatting with Andy Cohen for the 55th anniversary of âAll My Childrenâ in January 2025, People reports.
ââHer answer was Jackson âJackâ Montgomery, who became her eighth husband. Walt Willey played his character.
âJack Montgomery was the one who wouldnât leave and couldnât get out of her life, and she couldn’t walk away from him,â Lucci said. âAlthough at the end, she was in the crosshairs of that rifle going after Jack because she had left him again. Yeah, I guess Jack.â
