Taylor Frankie Paul Shares Behind-the-Scenes Look of ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Intro

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star, Taylor Frankie Paul, shared an inside peek into the promo shoot for the Hulu series.

The intro for season 2, which features Paul and the other castmates slowly exiting what looked like a lake, was actually a body of water, she revealed in the May 18 Instagram post.

In the behind-the-scenes clip, Taylor is seen giggling while the director encourages her to bring it for the camera.

“Behind the scenes creating is where I want to be, the creativity, the idea metaphorically, her vision. When have you seen an opening like this for reality tv? I see you @ametzy and I’m taking notes. I’m in [awe] of the their talent,” Paul wrote.

A fan replied, “I can’t express how much this slayed as an intro. I haven’t felt like this since Vanderpump seasons 1-8.”

“Gorgeous! That’s so awesome that you’ve got some ‘behind the scenes’ goals for your future, I think you’d be great at it,” another wrote.

Paul Shared a Playful Look at her Intro Shoot

Paul shared a TikTok video on May 15 revealing that the water shoot for “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” intro took place in a small above-ground pool instead of an outdoor lake.

“Wouldn’t trade places with anyone judging so I’m good,” she captioned.

“YOU ARE STUNNING!!!!! I can’t wait to have you back on my screen!!! So excited,” a fan replied. Another wrote, “Been here since the beginning still love you girl.”

Paul Revealed Why It’s Hard for Her to Watch Herself on ‘SLOMW’

During an interview with Page Six in September 2024, Paul revealed that she hadn’t watched season 1 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” yet.

“I split my kids … 50/50, and we got back into town. I had my little time with them and then we left yesterday so I just chose to spend it with them and not watch it,” she said.

She later admitted that her troubles with the father of her child Dakota Mortensen was a factor as well. “I could be triggered easily and so I think if I’m watching that and listening to it over … I think there’s a lot that’s cut out, though, that I did. There was like a whole therapy session of lot of emotions,” Paul revealed.

Pauls said that at the time, she didn’t know if the difficult scenes had been cut out so she was hesitant to re-live the memories. “I’m like, scared to watch that again,” she shared.
