Unfortunately, Swift’s fame might’ve been too much for Alwyn to handle. The couple went their separate ways in April 2023. Swift then moved on with Travis Kelce in October 2023.</p>

<p id=”par-4_38″>Alwyn added that the media coverage of the split was “dissected, speculated on, pulled out of shape beyond recognition.” He noted that there is “always going to be a gap between what is known and what is said.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_66″>An insider told <a href=”https://www.lifeandstylemag.com/posts/taylor-swift-was-shocked-ex-joe-alwyn-broke-his-silence/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Life & Style</a> that Alwyn wanted to “set the record straight” during his 2024 interview. “He had a good run with Taylor, but they’ve both moved on, and he has no desire to rehash their past,” the source claimed. “He spoke up because not every song that mentions London or alludes to an ex is about him, which is why he said something.”</p>
