Taylor Swift has been supported by Scooter Braun after Donald Trump lashed out at the star.

Just days after Swift, 34, used her platform to lend her support to Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, Trump has now taken to social media to declare his hatred towards the star.

On his Truth Social account, Trump slammed the Cruel Summer singer as he wrote in all caps: ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!’

In a surprising move, the singer had a strange ally in her former nemesis Scooter Braun who she fell out with several years ago.

Responding to Trump’s message, Braun screenshotted the post to put in his Instagram story with the caption ‘Shake it off Donald. Kamala 2024.’

The pair fell out in 2019 after Braun purchased the masters of her music, leading to a major dispute over the rights to the songs and the singer re-recording all of her early albums.

The You’re On Your Own Kid singer, 34, endorsed US presidential candidate Kamala Harris in a lengthy message that earned her praise from Stevie Nicks who unveiled her support for Harris.

Signing off the endorsement on social media the Love Story singer called herself a ‘childless cat lady’ in a subtle nod to Republican vice president choice JD Vance’s heavily criticised comments that labelled democratic voters ‘a bunch of childless cat ladies.’

This isn’t the first time the Republican candidate has spoken about his dislike for Swift.

In an interview with Fox & Friends he commented: ‘I was not a Taylor Swift fan.

‘It was just a question of time. She couldn’t possibly endorse Biden… But she’s a very liberal person.

‘She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.’

Swift is not the only star to lend her support to the support to Harris, Charli XCXBeyoncéMegan Thee Stallion, P!nk, Bon Iver, Martha Stewart, Barbra Streisand, George Clooney, and Olivia Rodrigo are just some of the names to publically support the democratic candidate.
