Her daughters shared the news of her passing, and now they are honoring her life with a moving tribute.

Following her sudden death, tributes poured in from friends and colleagues who are remembering Fisher as a tireless advocate for animals and a deeply compassionate presence in their care.

Who Was Sarah Fisher?

Fisher lived near Bath with Head, 71, who is also known for his role on “Little Britain”, apart from the Apple TV hit “Ted Lasso”.

She was widely respected for her lifelong dedication to animal welfare and her hands-on approach to caring for rescued animals.

According to the BBC, she founded and ran Tilley Farm, a sanctuary for horses, ponies, and donkeys, and served for years as an ambassador for multiple animal welfare charities, devoting much of her life to protecting and rehabilitating vulnerable animals.

Daughters Emily and Daisy Share Heartbreaking Tribute

Fisher’s daughters, Emily and Daisy, paid tribute to their mother with a heartfelt message that reflected both grief and pride.

The sisters, who are also actors, honored Fisher’s life and the impact she had on those around her. In a moving Facebook post, the daughters paid a tear-jerking tribute.

They described her as an “extraordinary, kind and talented mother,” noting that her death came as a profound shock.

“We are so sorry to have to share the news that our extraordinary, kind, and talented mother, Sarah, passed away recently. It is immensely shocking to us all, and came with very little warning.

No words could ever express all that she encompassed, or begin to describe the crater her absence has left. We know how profoundly she has impacted the lives of so many, and we couldn’t be more proud of the legacy she is leaving behind. We only wish she’d had more time to share her knowledge and brilliance with us and the world. Our grief knows no bounds, nor did the reaches of her incredibly unique and irreplaceable spirit.”

The heartbroken daughters also added: “We know how much she treasured the relationships she had with all of her friends, colleagues and collaborators, many of whom she stayed in contact with here, and we thank you all for being a part of her enriched life.”

A Lasting Impact on Animal Welfare Charities

Fisher was also a long-term fosterer for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in London, where her work left a lasting impression.

A spokesperson for the charity paid tribute, saying: “We’re truly sorry to lose our beloved friend and Ambassador Sarah Fisher and send our deepest sympathies to Sarah’s partner Anthony, her daughters, and her family and friends.

“Sarah, alongside her partner Anthony Head, gave so much to our charity, fostering dogs, using her canine behaviour expertise to train our staff and volunteers, and contributing in so many ways to make a real difference in animal welfare.

“She will be dearly missed by all of us at Battersea.”

US Sun also reported that Fisher served for many years as a patron of Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary in North Somerset.
