‘Teen Wolf’ Star Makes Rare Appearance Walking in Fashion Week Runway Show

It’s been eight years since “Teen Wolf” ended its six-season run, and we still miss seeing Scott McCall, Lydia Martin, Stiles Stilinski, and the rest of the gang together. Luckily, their actor counterparts, Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, and Dylan O’Brien, have plenty of other films and television parts to see them in.

But when it comes to O’Brien, we don’t see him out and about as much as we’d like. So catching him on the runway at designers Susan Alexandra and Rachel Antonoff’s New York Fashion Week show was a rare but delightful occurrence.

O’Brien Struts with a Canine Companion for a Pawsitively Stylish Cause

On September 10, all eyes were on O’Brien as he walked the runway alongside a furry companion. Dylan wasn’t a model for just any fashion show. The designers decided to combine cool outfits with a “Best in Show” dog pageant. They had teamed up with New York City’s Animal Haven and Muddy Paws Rescue. The goal was to try to help their rescue dogs find homes. What better way to get shelter dogs noticed than alongside models and their stylish clothes?

InStyle posted a video of O’Brien and his furry companion walking the runway. He wore a red, knit sweater with a row of playing cards around the collar, an ace in the center, and red striped denim jeans with a contrasting pattern on the knees. He accessorized with an adorable beaded corgi bag and a dog charm hanging from his pocket. Walking alongside him was an adorable brindle-colored dog. O’Brien obviously carried treats, as the dog kept trying to steal them out of his hand.

Dylan O’Brien Reflects on Heartfelt Journey in New Film “Twinless”

O’Brien has kept busy since “Teen Wolf” ended in 2017, with numerous TV and film roles. He voiced Bumblebee in the Transformers film “Bumblebee,” and finished his time as Thomas with “Maze Runner: The Death Cure.” He also starred as Zoey Deutch’s love interest in “Not Okay,” and as Dan Akroyd in 2024’s “Saturday Night, the “Saturday Night Live” docudrama.

Most recently, he’s been promoting his new film “Twinless,” in which he stars alongside James Sweeney and Lauren Graham. The film focuses on Roman (O’Brien) and Dennis (Sweeney), two men who meet in a support group when their twins die. The film really resonated with O’Brien.

“With Roman, who’s the main twin going through the loss, he was my first hook into the script. I was like, “I know this guy so deep down in my soul,” he told Interview Magazine. “I don’t know why, but I know his pain, I know his sheltered ignorance, I know his golden-retriever heart, and, sometimes to a fault, his physically losing control of the ones that he loves. I liked his impulsive nature combined with his very sweet and well-intentioned nature.”
