The disgraced media mogul stood trial in May 2025 on several serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. Testimonies from <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/a-complete-list-of-every-key-witness-who-has-testified-in-sean-diddy-combs-trial.html/”>several associates, former lovers, and ex-employees</a> dominated the headlines. Through the spring and summer, they painted a picture of an impulsive, depraved, and dangerous man.</p>

His team is actively appealing the conviction. Regardless of what happens, Diddy’s trial was arguably the biggest celebrity scandal of 2025.</p>

<p id=”par-4_44″>Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/justin-baldoni-said-leave-set-shake-tension-filming-it-ends-with-us.html/”>worked together on <em>It Ends with Us</em></a>, but the experience was not positive. In December 2024, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, alleging sexual harassment and misconduct on the set. Lively is seeking $160 million in damages.</p>
<p id=”par-5_59″>The following month, Baldoni took action. He denied all wrongdoing and, in January 2025, filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and others. In the countersuit, Baldoni claimed that Lively and her team orchestrated a smear campaign against him. According to <a href=”https://www.eonline.com/news/1424538/justin-baldoni-misses-deadline-to-appeal-blake-lively-countersuit-dismissal”>E! News,</a> that countersuit was dismissed by a federal judge in June 2025.</p>
<p id=”par-6_48″>The former coworkers haven’t made it to court yet, but the scandal has drawn in everyone from costars to Taylor Swift, and is getting messier as the days go on. We’ll need to wait until 2026 for a resolution. Lively and Baldoni are expected in court in May.</p>

The pop star traveled to space with Blue Origin while clutching a Daisy to symbolically bring her daughter along on the trip. When she touched down, she kissed the ground. The decision would go on to haunt her.</p>

<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-d4vd-becomes-the-focus-of-a-murder-investigation”>D4vd becomes the focus of a murder investigation</h2>
<p id=”par-9_72″>In September 2025, D4vd became the focus of a massive celebrity scandal when the Los Angeles Police Department impounded a <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/private-investigator-says-he-knows-whend4vds-tesla-was-last-moved.html/”>Tesla registered to the up-and-coming R&B artist</a>. Inside the car’s trunk, investigators found the decomposing body of a female. D4vd, who was on tour when the gruesome discovery was made, continued to perform until the remains were identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a 14-year-old girl who had gone missing a year earlier.</p>
<p id=”par-10_72″>D4vd has not commented on the investigation. Still, <a href=”https://www.tmz.com/2025/12/29/d4vd-likely-be-indicted-celeste-rivas-murder/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TMZ</a> reports that a grand jury is likely to indict the 20-year-old singer who gained his following on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the months since the body was identified, D4vd has retreated from the public eye. Charges won’t be filed by the year’s end. Still, it seems likely that he’ll be charged in connection with the death in 2026, according to sources.</p>

As the year came to a close, prolific Hollywood actor and director Rob Reiner and his photographer wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead inside <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/rob-reiner-dreamed-of-buying-his-brentwood-home-years-before-it-became-a-reality.html/”>their Brentwood home</a>. Rob, 78, and Michele, 70, were stabbed to death, according to the medical examiner.</p>
