Vassos sat down for an interview with <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.etonline.com/interview-golden-bachelorettes-joan-vassos-shares-the-advice-gerry-turner-gave-her-ahead-of-her-journey” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Entertainment Tonight</a> and made a surprising admission. The mother of four said that she and Gerry Turner have become great friends. She also revealed that the former flames text each other all the time. Turner has been giving her pointers for her upcoming dating journey.</p>

<p id=”par-3_44″>Vassos and Turner had an early connection on <em>The Golden Bachelor. </em>They even had a one-on-one date before she self-eliminated during week 3 of the competition. Despite <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/joan-vassos-said-she-thought-no-one-would-remember-her-following-sudden-the-golden-bachelor-exit.html/”>her journey ending suddenly</a>, Vassos said her time on the series made her crave a love connection.</p>
<p id=”par-4_65″>Vassos and Turner might be in touch right now, but it doesn’t seem likely that things will turn romantic between the pals. If they were to hook up, Turner and Vassos would run into <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/the-golden-bachelor-what-led-to-theresa-nist-and-gerry-turners-divorce.html/”>the same issues</a> Turner ran into with Nist. Vassos isn’t interested in leaving her family behind in Maryland. It seems like they are just good friend bonded by their shared experiences.</p>

<p id=”par-5_55″>Joan Vassos isn’t the only contestant from<em> The Golden Bachelor</em> who seems to be keeping close contact with Gerry Turner. Susan Noles appears to have a good relationship with him, too. Noles, eliminated from the series in week 5, never seemed to have romantic feelings for Turner. It appears they did forge a good friendship.</p>

<p id=”par-6_50″>Noles served as the officiant for Turner and Nist’s wedding. Still, it seems like she might feel more loyal to Turner than Nist. Recently, she took to her podcast to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/susan-noles-sides-with-gerry-turner-in-the-golden-bachelor-divorce.html/”>defend Turner.</a> She insisted that his marriage ended because Nist didn’t want to move and refused to quit her job.</p>
<p id=”par-7_35″><em>The Golden Bachelorette</em> will premiere on ABC in September. Vassos will film her season between late June and early August.<em> </em>ABC has yet to announce the men who will be vying for her attention. </p>
