You surely remember Carrie-Anne Moss from her days starring as Trinity in “The Matrix” films alongside Keanu Reeves. Now 58 years old, the actress has shared a makeup-free selfie showing that she’s just as gorgeous as ever.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, December 2, the star posted a pic of herself sitting by a window. Outside, you can see the sky, trees and quite a bit of snow. As for the actress herself, she has her long hair down in a casual way and smiles slightly at the camera while not wearing any makeup at all.
In the caption, Moss wrote, “First snow storm. Dear Winter Make me quiet so I can hear you.”
She added, “By the Fire a simple and sincere 10 day immersion into transforming this time of year and finding the gold in setting the tone for your life- through thoughtful exploration. Join me. Link in bio.”
In her IG bio, she included a link to her Substack, âFrom Within,â which includes âreflections on presence, creativity, and the sacred ordinary.â

Carrie-Anne Has Talked About Aging
GettyAs Moss has gotten older, she’s been honest and open about what that’s involved for the star.
âI had heard that at 40 everything changed,â Moss said in April 2021, according to The Hollywood Reporter. âI didnât believe in that because I donât believe in just jumping on a thought system that I donât really align with.”
“But literally the day after my 40th birthday, I was reading a script that had come to me and I was talking to my manager about it,” she recalled. “She was like, âOh, no, no, no, itâs not that role [youâre reading for], itâs the grandmother. I may be exaggerating a bit, but it happened overnight. I went from being a girl to the mother to beyond the mother.â
âYou donât feel like youâve aged much and suddenly youâre seeing yourself onscreen,â she said, noting that itâs âkind of brutal.â
âI would look at these French and European actresses and they just had something about them that felt so confident in their own skin,” she added. “I couldnât wait to be that. I strive for that. Itâs not easy being in this business. Thereâs a lot of external pressure.â
