The film followed Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), a hopeful journalism grad who landed a coveted — and chaotic role as assistant to the formidable Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), the icy editor-in-chief of Runway magazine.

Packed with sharp lines, iconic looks, and relatable ambition, it earned $326 million worldwide and earned Streep an Oscar nod.

In the sequel, Miranda remains at the helm of Runway, but times have changed.

According to multiple reports, the plot will feature Print struggling, and the magazine now relies on ad dollars from a luxury fashion conglomerate, run by none other than Blunt’s once-overlooked assistant.

Yes, Nigel Is Back — And There’s a New Face in the Mix

Stanley Tucci will reprise his fan-favorite role as Nigel Kipling, Runway’s witty and stylish art director.

Meanwhile, Kenneth Branagh will appear as Miranda Priestly’s husband, a character never seen in the original film but mentioned briefly in sharp-tongued remarks.
