The Sweet Explanation Charlie Kirk’s Wife Has Given Their 3-Year-Old 

Erika Kirk has spoken publicly for the first time since the tragic death of her husband, Charlie Kirk.

In a statement shared Friday, Sept. 12, the podcast host and mother of two recounted a tender exchange with their young daughter that has quickly become a symbol of grief wrapped in innocence.

When the little girl asked where her father was, Erika responded softly: “Baby, daddy loves you so much. Don’t you worry. He’s on a work trip with Jesus, so he can afford your blueberry budget.”

Erika also expressed how much family meant to her late husband. “Charlie always said that when he was gone, he wanted to be remembered for his courage and for his faith,” she continued. “Most of all, Charlie loved his children, and he loved me with all of his heart.” 

Charlie Kirk’s Last Instagram Post With Daughter

Only weeks earlier, Charlie Kirk had celebrated his daughter’s birthday on Instagram.

In what would be one of his final posts, he shared a photo of the two of them on the beach, playing in the sand.

“Happy birthday to our incredible daughter,” he wrote. “Teaching her to know God alongside Erika is the greatest privilege. Having a family will change your life in the best ways, so get married and have kids. You won’t regret it.”

Erika often shares brief family moments on her social media. In one touching post from August, she shared images of herself with her daughter at a baseball game. She also shared a heartwarming message about her children’s memories.

“I am responsible for the childhood memories that my little ones will carry for a lifetime,” she wrote. “And the thing is the moments that turn into memories will either point them heavenward or weigh them down with burdens they were never meant to carry.”

How Charlie & Erika Met

Charlie first met Erika Frantzve in 2018 at the Turning Point USA office. They later connected when Charlie sent her a DM, asking for a meeting the next time he was in New York City.

The meeting started as a potential job interview, but later turned romantic after their multiple hours of conversation.

In December 2020, he proposed, and the couple wed the following May in Scottsdale, surrounded by family and friends.

Their marriage was marked by a shared dedication to faith and family.

They welcomed their daughter in 2022 and a son two years later, celebrating milestones with joy both private and public.
