A longtime script supervisor on The Walking Dead has died after a hit-and-run in Atlanta, US.

Amy Blanc Lacy died aged 62 on September 5, just days after the Toyota Prius she was riding in with her two sons was struck by another vehicle, resulting in all three being rushed to hospital.

A man has been charged with homicide by vehicle in her death, the Atlanta Police Department have said.

Buck Rollins, 31, is said to have turned himself in to the Fulton County Jail and was charged with homicide by vehicle, hit and run, reckless driving and speeding.

Local police said he was driving more than 90mph in a 45mph zone and left his Hyundai Elantra at the scene, according to an arrest affidavit seen by People.

Rollins was reportedly spotted on video removing his golf clubs from the car and ‘walking away casually from the scene of the accident’.
