Theo James is the new favourite to be the next James Bond after setting pulses soaring with a steamy new underwear shoot .
The 40-year-old White Lotus hunk has given Daniel Craig a run for his money, emerging from the ocean in a pair of tight white briefs in a campaign for Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue fragrances.
Supermodel Vittoria Ceretti is by his side as a classic bikini clad Bond Girl in the racy video as they enjoyed a sizzling boat ride – and a passionate kiss – before climbing out of the sea and lounging on some rocks.
It was filmed in Faraglioni, Italy with photographer Gordon von Steiner capturing every moment, and Theo has now seen his odds rise as he’s become the frontrunner to replace Daniel.
After the intense photoshoot, plenty of film fans have seen enough and are calling on Theo to take up the 007 mantel in the first film since Amazon MGM’s creative takeover of the franchise.
‘How is this guy not the new james bond already. Theo James is perfection,’ wrote @CeceliaMoreno6, while @TopGirlKeiko pointed out: ‘How are they even struggling with a James Bond when Theo James exists?!’
Another X user, @viklisacrossing, added: ‘I just saw there is a chance that Theo James is gonna be the next James Bond…. and dear god I hope so.’
While @MyBoyEnxo explained: ‘Theo James fits perfectly, he’s got the voice, accent and charisma to play Bond as he was written and the skills to pull it off.’

Now, bookies BetMGM have the The Gentlemen as the 6/4 favourite to be the next 007, ahead of Superman actor Henry Cavill at 3/1.
28 Years Later star Aaron Taylor-Johnson is still in the running, with himand Jack Lowden both following at 6/1.
Brand Director at BetMGM, Dan Towse, said: ‘The topic of who will play the next James Bond is always an interesting one and, with Amazon MGM working on the next movie, Theo James is the 6/4 favourite with BetMGM.
‘Speculation has been ongoing about who would replace Daniel Craig after his last appearance in 2021’s No Time to Die and it seems that James is a strong candidate to take over.’
Theo isn’t the only White Lotus star to get the nod recently either – last month, season three lead Patrick Schwarzenegger has also been linked.

Everything’s been kept tightly under wraps about the next film and its star, but Daniel Mays recently suggested we could get an origin story for the super spy.
During an appearance on the We’re Not Getting Any Younger podcast, he said that he’d heard a rumor that ‘they’re going to cast someone very young and go back to the origins’.
Longtime producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson previously announced their plans to step back, with Amazon MGM taking over creative control and Amy Pascal and David Heyman jumping on board to produce the next flick.
Popping up at CinemaCon in Las Vegas earlier this month, executives said production is finally underway in London.
‘We are committed to honoring the legacy of this iconic character while bringing a fresh, exotic new chapter to audiences around the world alongside Amy and David,’ they announced.
