This Morning and Loose Women stars are among those reportedly at risk as ITV is said to be planning further cuts.

Over the last year, there have been huge changes in the broadcaster’s presenting line-up, namely Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley becoming hosts of This Morning.

This followed months of speculation and stand-in presenters like Sian Welby and Rylan Clark joining Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, after Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield’s departures months apart from each other.

Meanwhile, a continuing rotation of presenters following Ben leaving Good Morning Britain include Kate Garraway, Rob Rinder and Richard Madeley.

However, it’s now been claimed stars are fearing a huge cull and it’s ‘panic stations’ as contracts are getting reviewed.

An insider has claimed that Loose Women presenters may also be at risk as ITV looks to save money.

This comes after Andrea McLean was confirmed to be returning to the panel, following Carol McGiffin’s heated exit.

A source told The Sun: ‘It’s panic station time. The presenters’ contracts are under major review when they come to expire — normally in August or September — and further cuts have been warned of.’

Those on 12-month contracts include Dermot and GMB’s Adil Ray, with the insider claiming they’re ‘theoretically most likely to be in the firing line’.

But the source went on: ‘Dermot polls really well with viewers and absolutely no one wants him to go anywhere. So he’ll be safe.

‘Editors are so concerned that they are sending staff daily ‘heat maps’ on ratings, showing which items lost viewers.

‘A few of the Loose Women panel are worried too, as so many new faces have been brought in and some have worked better than others.’

An ITV spokesperson added to the publication: ‘We’re very proud of our teams, on and off screen, who produce 7 1⁄2 hours of brilliant live content every weekday.

‘ITV’s daytime shows reach 7.5million viewers weekly.’

This comes as the broadcaster has made a string of cuts in recent months to popular celebrity-fronted programmes.

The axes include two of Iain Stirling’s programmesLaura Whitmore’s weekend show as well as Oti Mabuse’s, The Masked Dancer and Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow.

More recently, Strictly star Jayde Adams’ Ruby Speaking has taken a hit, alongside Count Abdulla.
