Former NFL star Tim Tebow and his wife, Demi-Leigh Tebow, became first-time parents on July 6, 2025, when they welcomed their baby girl, Daphne.

They celebrated an important milestone on August 6 and gave fans a glimpse into who they are as parents when they shared more information about their newborn.

The couple posted new photos of Daphne on Instagram. They can be seen posing with her. In one photo, Tim is kissing her head, in another, he and Demi are smiling while holding their child in their bedroom. It is a gorgeous collection of photos, but the caption was just as moving.

The couple penned a heartfelt message about Daphne’s first month. “One month of Daphne,” the caption begins. “31 days of hearing your little voice and learning what each sound means. 4 weeks of feeling your heartbeat in my arms, instead of waiting to hear it at the next appointment. A month of celebrating every ounce you gain and every smile you give. I’m praying with you now, not just for you. Holding your little feet instead of feeling your little kicks.”

The message continues, “I constantly find myself in awe — I could watch and stare at you all day. One month of you and already, I can’t imagine life without you! Thank you Jesus for the blessing of YOU.”

Fans have reacted to the post with messages of love and congratulations for the happy couple. “Thank you for sharing your pregnancy and beautiful daughter with us,” a comment reads. “Sweetest! What a treasure,” another fan wrote.

Demi-Leigh and Tim are proud parents, and this is not the first time they have spoken about their daughter publicly. When they announced her birth on Instagram on July 7, they posted a joint photo with several sweet pictures of themselves posing with her.

The caption was penned by Demi-Leigh, who informed fans of their daughter’s name and what it means to them. “Daphne is a name that’s been close to my heart since I was a little girl,” the caption reads. “I never got to meet my mom’s mother, but her sister, Daphne, stepped in as a grandma figure to me. She was so special to my mom and I — a tiny, kind and strong South African woman who always had shortbread in the house, was the epitome of grit and grace, loved Jesus, had the voice of an angel and made everyone feel seen and special. I used to tell my mom, ‘I want to be just like Ouma Daphne one day.”

The caption continues, “I’ve loved this name since I was a little girl and for as long as I can remember I always said that if I ever get blessed with a daughter, I’ll name her Daphne. Shortly after Tim and I got married, I shared that desire with him, and thankfully he loved the name just as much as I did!!”

Tim and Demi-Leigh’s daughter’s second name is Reign, which they revealed has been a name that was “inspired by a previous little girl” that they loved.
